Keratoconus Australia Inc was founded in 2000 and is run solely by volunteers. Its main aim is to raise awareness, promote research and act as a representative body for people with Keratoconus. It provides, where necessary, counseling, support and referrals to the people with Keratoconus and their families. Full membership is only open to people with Keratoconus or the parents of children who have Keratoconus. However, anyone can become a supporter. This is another great website with a wealth of information.

It has a very good common questions list where it discusses Keratoconus in easy to understand terms. It also contains links to very good Keratoconus related information. In addition, you can order videos of three conferences that offer interesting information about Keratoconus, corneal transplants and contact lenses. Such material makes it another great Keratoconus resource.

Keratoconus Australia has an "Ask the Expert" section where you can e-mail general questions about Keratoconus and related issues. The answer will be e-mailed back to you.

The NKFC doesn't have a message board although it does have a great e-mail based service where members can exchange experiences and give support to each other by e-mail. You can also contact NKCF directly for information. NKCF is a great asset to the Keratoconus community.

The UK Keratoconus Self-help group is a wonderful resource of support and information for people with Keratoconus. It is primarily aimed at people in the UK; however its website has an abundance of information for all. Its main aims are to provide information and support for people with Keratoconus in the UK. It also organizes regular meetings for members, often with guest speakers. It produces a regular news letter, along with raising money for research, awareness of Keratoconus, and to run the web site.

Like the NKFC, it is also a great source of information on Keratoconus which is constantly updated. It has a great section on contact lenses, along with a wonderful newsletter. It has very professional and thought out answers to questions posed on the Mini Ark procedure.

The UK Self-help group offers a message board forum which can also be turned into an e-mail based forum depending on your preferences. It also has a telephone contact number and a "Members Only" section which has questionnaires and surveys.

A relatively new website for Irish suffers created by Ray, who has been around KC websites for almost as long as the web has existed.

Website :
KC Watch is a very user friendly website and it is very easy to navigate around. It holds a mass of information on living with Keratoconus in Ireland and has a KC dairy by Ray that is regularly updated. Members can find information on the current cost of lenses and drops and there is a also a news section giving up to date information on what's news in the world of KC.

Interactive fourms :
KC Watch is in the form of a blog and members can quiet easily go into the site and make comments.
